Some trail mates you meet by surprise. We came for an overnight hike — but left with sore leg, full hearts… and a story we’ll never ever forget. Dutch isn’t ours — he just lives near the trail and loves joining hikers. And for two full days, he was all in. He led the way, slept by our tent, waited when we slowed down, and made sure we smiled the whole time.
